After becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) you'll want to teach divers specific types of diving depending on what your local area offers. To do this you need to be able to teach PADI Specialties .
Why become a Specialty Instructor?
When you become a Speciality Instructor you can heighten your students' comfort level and strengthen their underwater skills, ultimately leading to their enjoyment of diving more than ever before. You are able to show new areas of the underwater world to students, from Wreck Diving to Underwater Photography, and introduce them to Nitrox, the most popular speciality course offered in the Sinai at the moment! You will also enhance your employability and earning potential by being a more versatile employee, and once you can teach 5 specialties, and have a minimum of 25 student certifications, you can apply to be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

- You must be a PADI Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor to qualify to teach specialties.
