I began diving in my homeland of Japan , and it was there that I developed my passion for diving. My passion has grown over the years to include teaching and underwater photography. I moved to Egypt over ten years ago to work in the diving industry, gaining over 2000 student certifications in this time. During this time I married and had a daughter, Nanami. Five years ago I became an IDC Staff Instructor, assisting on over 15 IDC's before becoming a Course Director in 2003. Since then I have been the Course Director for Sinai Divers IDC's in both Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab, running IDC's in English and Japanese. I also offer the chance to become Speciality Instructors in Nitrox, Wreck, Photography, Night, Deep and Search and Recovery. My aim on each IDC is to create a relaxed atmosphere, where each candidate can develop at their own pace. The main idea is to create an Instructor who can not only pass the IDC, but who will become a successful Instructor, and of course to have fun along the way!
