Our Routes

NORTH ROUTE

Our ‘north route’ sets off north around the Straits of Tiran and includes the coast along Sinai, Ras Mohamed and the wreck of the Thistlegorm. On our usual morning dives, around the Islands, you can find sharks, a favourite fish to see in the Red Sea. “Wall dives with big fish,” describes this area best, and there is very good visibility, usually up to 30 metres. Day 1 Checkout dives in Temple, a drift dive in Ras Um Sid, then head for the Straits of Tiran. Day 2 A choice from the four most popular sites and overnight around island. Day 3 The rest of the Island’s sites and head for overnight around Ras Um Sid. Day 4 Ras Mohamed, including Shark’s Reef, Yolanda Reef, Anemone City, Jackfish Alley and a night dive in Shaab Mahmoud. Day 5 Shaab Mahmoud and the wrecks of Abu Nahas, with four to choose from. Overnight around Shaab Um Usk. Day 6 Two dives on the wreck of the Thistlegorm and overnight in Ras Katy. Day 7 Return to Sharm El Sheikh marina.

SOUTH ROUTE

The ‘south route’ heads south and includes the coral islands around Hurghada, where there are many wrecks to enjoy. Weather can affect the choice of sites in this area and is unpredictable and variable all year. Day 1 Checkout dive in Temple, then first dive in Shaab Mahmoud. If the weather is good cross to Abu Nahas, if not remain in Shaab Mahmoud. Day 2 If weather good dive Um El Gamar and Twal Island, if bad then dive the four wrecks of Abu Nahas. Day 3 If weather good dive Ras Um Molla and sleep in Shaab Ali, if bad then Bluff Point and around Gubal. Day 4 Two dives on the wreck of the Thistlegorm and overnight in Shaab Mahmoud. Day 5 Ras Mohamed, including Shark’s Reef, Yolanda Reef, Anemone City, Jackfish Alley and night dive in Shaab Mahmoud. Day 6 This day is subject to weather and the wishes of the guests. Either a second day in Ras Mohamed or over to Straits of Tiran. It could be possible that a second day was enjoyed around Thistlegorm, therefore this day is around Ras Mohamed. Overnight in Ras Katy. Day 7 Return to Sharm El Sheikh marina.
