You will learn how to teach in the classroom, pool and in open water. The course will hone your personal diving skills to instructor level. Rescue skills will be practiced and perfected each of the four days in open water. During the IDC, attention will also be focused on becoming familiar with the PADI Instructor Manual and IDC Candidate Workbook. These books are invaluable learning tools during and after the IDC. Upon completing our IDC, you will have an excellent understanding how PADI Standards are used and applied – these are the code that PADI Instructors live by. Upon successful completion of the PADI IDC, you will qualify for the PADI Instructor Examination (IE). If it has been awhile since your Divemaster certification or you feel a bit rusty on your Divemaster knowledge and skills, You may wish to investigate our IDC Prep program prior to the IDC course itself.
